Buying Process

As a buyer, you can browse our extensive collection of patents, trademarks, copyrights, and domains and select the most suitable option for you or your business. When you find the Intellectual Property of your choice, simply place a bid and wait for the auction to end. Once it concludes, you can quickly complete the transaction, knowing that your purchase is conducted on a safe and reliable platform.

  • Place a bid
  • Once your bid is accepted you will be notified via email.
  • You will be sent an Intellectual Sales Agreement document via email to sign electronically. This is an enforceable contract that identifies the agreement between the buyer and the seller.
  • You will be sent an Assignment of IP Rights document via email to sign electronically. This is an enforceable contract that transfers the intellectual property rights from the assignor (seller) to the assignee (buyer).
  • You will be sent our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy via email to sign electronically.
  • Once all documents are executed, you will receive an email with information on transferring the funds. We accept wire transfers only. Please be advised that you are sending funds directly to IP AuctionHouse. IP AuctionHouse will withhold a 10% transaction fee and send the balance to the seller. Transfer times vary depending on the institution.

Selling Process

If you’re looking to sell your intellectual property, IP AuctionHouse offers you the opportunity to showcase it to a global network of buyers. We provide the tools and resources you need to make informed decisions about the sale, including real-time bidding updates, analytics, and secure transactions. Simply create a profile and start the auction process.

  • Once a bid is placed you will be notified by email.
  • Once you’ve accepted a bid you will be sent a “Sold” email and instructions to complete the transaction
  • You will be sent an Intellectual Sales Agreement document via email to sign electronically. This is an enforceable contract that identifies the agreement between the buyer and the seller.
  • You will be sent an Intellectual Sales Agreement document via email to sign electronically. This is an enforceable contract that identifies the agreement between the buyer and the seller.
  • You will be sent our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy via email to sign electronically.
  • You will be sent a Disclosures and Warranties document. This document must be notarized and sent back to IP AuctionHouse along with a copy of your Driver’s License. This document will serve as documentation that you are the true and original owner of your intellectual Property. This must be done before any funds are transferred.
  • You will receive an email notification once all documents are executed. Please be advised that the buyer will send the funds directly to IP AuctionHouse via wire transfer. IP AuctionHouse will withhold a 10% transaction fee and send the balance to you via wire transfer. Transfer times vary depending on the institution.
